Probably still my favorite of all my vintage Heuers: the Autavia ref. 2446 GMT "MK1" i.e. first execution.

The watch is from ca. 1968, and it is - say - fairly rare. Cheers, HSTE

Can it get much better than this? ....

A very early Carrera ref. 2447 N with "Türler" double-signature. Ca. 1964 edition with Hexagon case-back, "no-T" etc. Cheers, HSTE

I had a mere 2447S first generation which I stupidly sold to fund a vintage piece a furniture. Well, that’s life. Regards from my poorman’s panda ^^

That sweet little Heuer Carrera 2447N „Meister“ from 1968/69 earns a place on the rusty beam as well.

Jacky Heuer hit the nail on the head when designing these early Carreras. Nothing too much, nothing too little, just what it needs to have a functional chronograph. Cheers, HSTE

Weekend Heuer. Part 5/? - A little more modern

Let's skip (I will return to that) the old chronographs and jump to more modern ones: Autavia 2446C GMT "First Execution", I believe. Manual wind, of course. I need to check but, according to OnTheDash, this case is "a compressor case" and the watch is fr
